1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of this website and the services provided by [Your Name or Business Name], a freelance videographer / cinematographer / filmmaker operating in the United Kingdom. By accessing this website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Services
We provide professional video production services, including but not limited to: filming, editing, post-production, and content delivery for commercial, corporate, artistic, and personal projects. All services are subject to a written agreement or contract detailing the scope, timeline, and fees.
3. Booking & Payment
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to confirm a booking.
The balance is payable upon completion of the project or as specified in the written agreement.
All prices are quoted in GBP and may be subject to VAT if applicable.
Late payments may incur interest in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellations must be made in writing.
If cancellation occurs less than 24 hours before the scheduled shoot, the full fee is payable.
Rescheduling will be accommodated where possible but may incur additional charges.
5. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all copyright and intellectual property rights remain with [Your Name or Business Name].
Clients are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the final video(s) for the intended purpose outlined in the agreement.
Additional usage (e.g., third-party licensing, broadcast, resale) requires written permission and may incur additional fees.
6. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
Obtaining any necessary permissions, releases, or licenses for locations, music, trademarks, and individuals appearing in the video.
Ensuring safe and lawful working conditions during filming.
Providing timely feedback and approvals during the production process.
7. Limitation of Liability
We will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit or opportunity.
Our total liability, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, shall not exceed the total fee paid by the client.
We are not liable for delays or non-performance due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., weather, illness, technical failure).
8. Revisions and Edits
A set number of revisions (e.g., 2 rounds) is included in the agreed fee.
Additional revisions will be charged at an hourly rate or as agreed.
Requests for revisions must be submitted within 14 days of receiving the draft.
9. Data Protection & Privacy
We collect and process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. Please refer to our [Privacy Policy] for more information.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
